Community Tree Planting
Join TreeUtah for Alta’s busiest event of the season as we spend a burly day on the mountain planting up to 1,000 and tree saplings. We will hike to different locations throughout Alta and will decide where to plant based on characteristics including aspect, elevation, and vegetation type to increase the likelihood of survival.

Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
