Planting Trees at Sugarhouse Park
Come plant trees with TreeUtah at Sugarhouse Park on Thursday, October 12th at 1:00pm!
We'll meet at the baseball diamond. When you arrive, look for our big green tent to check in. Once everyone has arrived, we'll get started with a brief safety talk and planting demonstration. Then, we'll split into groups and get planting!
We will bring the trees, tools, and expertise to guide you through the planting process. We ask that you wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and enough layers to be comfortable in the day's weather. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to refill at our water station.
So we know to expect you, please fill out our volunteer waiver: https://treeutah.dm.networkforgood.com/forms/tree-utah-volunteer-waiver
This event was made possible in part by you through Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks. Thank you!

Everyone can help
TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
