Skis n Trees at Alta
Date: February 10, 2022 at 1-2 pm
Location: Alta Ski Area
Volunteers participating in the tour need to meet at the top of the Sunnyside lift area at 1 pm. The requirement for participating is an intermediate skiing ability. All of the tours are free with the purchase of a lift ticket for the day or if you have a season pass. Our tour will center on tree species ID, forest history and ecology, issues relating to climate change, and what the potential futures are for the ecosystem.
