Volunteer Team Leader Training

Volunteer Team Leader Training

All TreeUtah Volunteer Team Leaders (VTLs) and individuals interested in becoming a VTL are invited to join us for our new Arborist 101 and Training course on Saturday, March 2nd at 1:30 pm at the Day-Riverside Branch Library (1575 W 1000 N, Salt Lake City, UT 84116). This course will go over tree biology, planting, pruning, and more as well as provide training on how to successfully lead volunteers at our tree planting events.

Current VTLs are strongly encouraged to attend and, please, invite anyone you know who might be interested!

We'll also be sharing details about paid opportunities for VTLs. TreeUtah now has funding to pay VTLs who are able to attend at least 6 events per year, whether it's 3 in the Spring and 3 in the Fall or all 6 in just one season.

Thank you all for the great work you do for TreeUtah. Our mission is only possible with your help and we're working hard to put together resources that you all can utilize as part of our team.

If you plan on attending, please sign our Volunteer Form at the link below.

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
