Sapling Harvest at Brighton Resort in July
Join TreeUtah at Brighton Resort on Friday, July 31st at 9:00 am to help us harvest saplings from groomed ski runs to later be replanted as part of restoration projects on the mountain!
The address is 8302 S Brighton Loop Rd, Brighton, UT 84121.
We will be meeting at the main center of Brighton Resort. Look for our big green tent to make sure you're in the right place and to check in!
All equipment will be provided, including tools and gloves. We ask that you wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and sun protection. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle.
Temperatures are cooler at higher elevation locations, so we also recommend bringing a jacket or an extra layer!
We expect to wrap things up by noon. Please note that the terrain we will be traversing is moderate to difficult, so we also recommend appropriate hiking footwear for this activity!
We are doing two tree harvesting events up at Brighton this year: July 31st and August 15th!
