EcoGarden Pruning and Weeding

Three people stand in the background while two people work together to plant a small blackberry plant

Join us on Wednesday, April 3rd from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at our EcoGarden at the Day-Riverside Branch Library (1575 W 1000 N, Salt Lake City, UT 84116) to help us prune shrubs and pull weeds.

Thanks to volunteers like you, we're able to maintain this wonderful permaculture demonstration garden in the West side of Salt Lake City for all our community members to enjoy!

When you join us at EcoGarden events, we'll have all the tools necessary for our gardening activities. All we ask is that you wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and enough layers to plant comfortably in the day's weather. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to refill at our water station or at the drinking fountains inside the library.

So we know to expect you, please fill out our Volunteer Waiver by clicking the following link:

We're looking forward to gardening with you!

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
