Washakie Cemetery Tree Planting - Box Elder County
Join TreeUtah and Ivory Homes to plant trees in the Washakie Cemetary in Box Elder County. This is a planting that will add to a restoration project on the Shoshone Reservation. 10am-1pm. Pre-registration waiver required. Masks and social distancing required.
Be sure to bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water bottle, mask (we'll have extras if you need one), your own tools if you have them (shovel, gloves, small hand digging tools), and snacks. We will bring extra tools if you need them, spray sanitizer, water to refill your bottle, snacks and all the info you need to have a successful time planting with us.
Going north on 1-15 to the Plymouth exit, go left (west) to the N Frontage Road turn right and go to 24000 North Road then turn left going west. You will see the Washakie Community continue west until you get to the end of the road which will be the 8600 West Road go right on the left hand sign you will see a gate the has NWBSN Cemetery it is a black paved road.
