Volunteer at the EcoGarden!
Join us Saturday, June 27th, 9am - noon at the TreeUtah EcoGarden, just south of Day-Riverside Library!
Address: 1575 W 1000 N, Salt Lake City, UT 84116
Parking: park at the library parking lot and walk to the pavilion to the South!
When you arrive, look for the green TreeUtah tent and check in. Once everyone's there, we'll do a welcome, safety talk, and go over the activities for the day. We will be doing weeding, trash pick up, mulching with wood chips, light pruning, harvesting (if applicable), and perhaps planting some native fruiting shrubs or herbs (weather dependent). We will bring all the tools, trees/plants, soil amendments, safety equipment, light snacks, cold drinks and trained staff to guide you.
We ask that you wear closed-toe shoes or boots, sun protection, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Please bring your own refillable water bottle. TreeUtah will make sure there are plenty of snacks for you at the table and fizzy beverages on hand in the cooler. We will wrap up by or before noon.
Please sign up here, (waiver included), so that we know to expect you!
If you have any questions or trouble finding the event day-of, you may reach out to Amy at 801-573-5685. Looking forward to planting with you!

Everyone can help
TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
