Tree Planting at Meadowlark Elementary

Join us on Saturday, April 8th at Meadowlark Elementary (497 Morton Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84116) at 9:00am to plant some trees! We were finally able to find a new date for this event and we're looking forward to having you with us. The forecast for the date is looking excellent, despite the major snowstorm earlier in the week!

We will meet at Meadowlark Elementary at 9 am. When you arrive, look for the green TreeUtah tent and check in. Once everyone has arrived, we'll do a planting demonstration and safety talk, then get planting! We will bring all the tools, trees, soil amendments, safety equipment, light snacks, coffee/tea and trained staff to guide you.

We ask that you wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Please bring your own refillable water bottle. We will wrap up by or before noon.

Please sign our waiver so we know to expect you:

Looking forward to planting with you!

Thank you to the volunteers from the Salt Lake Rotary Club,  Sherwin Williams Paints, and thank you in advance to all the volunteers who will join us! Thank you to the Salt Lake City School District for hosting us to plant more trees on Salt Lake's West Side.

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
