Tree Planting at J L Sorenson Recreation Center
Come plant trees with us at J L Sorenson Recreation Center (5350 W Main St, Herriman, UT 84096) on Saturday, November 18th at 10:00am!
When you arrive, look for a big green tent to check in. Once everyone has checked in, we'll get started with a brief safety talk and planting demonstration. Then, we'll split into groups and get planting!
We will bring the trees, tools, and expertise to guide you through the planting process. We ask that you wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, sun protection, and enough layers to plant comfortably in the day's weather. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to refill at our water station.

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
