Planting at the Nature Center at Pia Okwai

Let's plant trees together on Saturday, April 5th at 9:00 am at the Nature Center at Pia Okwai (3310 S 1000 W, South Salt Lake, UT 84119)!

When you arrive at the planting site, look for our big green tent to check in. Once everyone has arrived, we'll get started with a brief safety talk and planting demonstration. Then, we'll split into small groups and get planting!

We will bring the trees, tools, gloves, and expertise to guide you through the planting process.

We ask that you wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, sun protection, and enough layers to plant comfortably in the day's weather. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to fill at our water station.
