Planting at Fife Wetlands Preserve
Come plant trees with us at Fred & Ila Rose Fife Wetlands Preserve (952 S 11th W, Salt Lake City, UT 84104) on Saturday, November 5th at 9:00am! We'll be meeting on the west side off 1100 West and 980 South.
When you arrive, look for our big green tent with our logo to check in. After checking in, we'll get started with a brief safety talk and planting demonstration. Then, we'll split into small groups and start planting!
We will bring the trees, tools, gloves, and soil amendments along with expert guidance. We will also have water, coffee, tea, and light snacks. All you need to bring is a reusable water bottle and an eagerness to plant trees! You should also make sure to wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty.
Prior to planting, make sure to fill out our Volunteer Waiver Form either online here or at our table at the event.
This event will wrap up by noon.

Everyone can help
TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
