Park City at Miss Billie’s Open Space Planting

Join TreeUtah with Summit Land Conservancy to restore and improve a riparian area within preserved open space in Park City.  We will be planting a mix of larger caliper trees, shrubs, and small seedlings along a perennial watercourse and in an adjoining field. Pre-registration waiver required. Masks and social distancing required.

Be sure to bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, mask (we'll have extras), your own tools if you have them (shovel, gloves, small hand digging tools) and snacks. With COVID precautions in place, we will keep things as touchless as we can. We will have extra tools if you need them, and spray sanitizer.

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
