Palisade State Park Tree Planting Campout

Event flyer that repeats information shared on this webpage

Join TreeUtah at Palisade State Park on September 5th and 6th for a tree planting campout!

This volunteer trip includes free campsites at the Wakara Campground and three basic meals for each day of volunteering (grab and go breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, and dinner on the grill (regular and veggie hot dogs, roasted veggie shish kabobs, corn on the cob).

Each day, we'll be planting trees in the morning from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Volunteers are welcome to join us for both days, but are not required to. If you're only able to join for one day, we'll be happy to have you.

We will not have any tree plantings on Sunday, September 7th, but you are welcome to stay overnight on Saturday and stick around through Sunday morning - take your time and enjoy the sights!

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
