Oquirrh Park Tree Planting in Kearns!

Come plant trees with us, Tuesday, April 21st, 1pm - 4pm, at Oquirrh Park in Kearns. We are very excited to fill Oquirrh Park with trees this spring and YOU can be a part of that change!

Address is 4950 W Ed Mayne St, Kearns, UT 84118. Oquirrh Park is a large park, so please note that we will be parking at the Oquirrh Ball Parking Lot. Look for the big green TreeUtah tent nearby!

The easiest way to find us is if you type Oquirrh Ball Parking Lot in google maps. Apple maps might take you to a different location. 

When you arrive, look for the green TreeUtah tent and check in! Once everyone's there, we'll do a welcome, planting demonstration with arborists, and safety talk. Then we'll break into groups and get planting! We will bring all the tools, trees, soil amendments, safety equipment, light snacks, drinks and trained staff to guide you.

We ask that you wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Please bring your own refillable water bottle. TreeUtah will make sure there are plenty of snacks for you at the table and fizzy beverages on hand in the cooler. We will wrap up by or 4pm.
