Historic Scott School Tree Planting Event!

Historic Scott School Tree Planting Event!

Please join TreeUtah to plant trees at the Historic Scott School in South Salt Lake Saturday April 4th @9am!

We will meet in the park, at 3280 S 549 E, South Salt Lake, UT 84106. When you arrive (8:45 to 9am), look for the green TreeUtah tent and check in!

Once everyone has arrived, we'll do a planting demonstration and safety talk with an ISA-certified arborist, and get planting! We will bring all the tools, trees, soil amendments, safety equipment, light snacks, drinks and trained staff to guide you.

We ask that you wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Please bring your own refillable water bottle. We will have a water refill station and sparkling waters. We will wrap up by or before noon.

Please make sure to register for the event here, (the registration link includes our waiver), so that we know to expect you!

If you have any questions or trouble finding the event day-of, you may reach out to Amy at 801-573-5685. Looking forward to planting with you!

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
