Alta's Annual Planting Day [FULL]
On September 17th, TreeUtah will be joining Alta Ski Area for their busiest stewardship event of the season as we spend a burly day on the mountain planting up to 1,000 seedlings. The trees we'll be planting this day are saplings we rescued from the ski slopes earlier this season in addition to seedlings grown from seeds handpicked from trees growing on the mountain. We will hike to different locations throughout Alta where we will be planting seedlings where we think they are most likely to survive.
This event will begin at 8:00am and will go until noon. Lunch will be provided!

Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah.
