Snowshoe Hike at Wasatch Mountain State Park

A group of people hike with snowshoes among trees in the Winter.

Join us for our annual snowshoe hike at Wasatch Mountain State Park on February 17th at 10:00am! During this hike, our tree experts will help you learn how to identify several tree species that are common throughout the Wasatch Range.

We will meet at the Wasatch Mountain State Park Visitor Center (1281 Warm Springs Road, Midway, UT 84049). There is limited parking at the visitor center, so please car pool if possible. When everyone has arrived, we will shuttle to the trailhead together. We should finish the hike by 1:00pm.

There is a suggested donation of $10 for this event. This donation can be made ahead of time online at the link below or day-of in cash.

So we know to expect you, please fill out our volunteer waiver here: https://treeutah.dm.networkforgood.com/forms/tree-utah-volunteer-waiver

Before heading up to join us for the hike, it is a good idea to check the forecast beforehand, so you can dress comfortably for the day's forecasted temperatures and weather. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle - although it's Winter, it's still important to stay hydrated on a hike!

If you do not have your own snowshoes, snowshoes are available to rent at the visitor center for $10.
