Join us for our Alta Community Volunteer Days. We'll be doing restoration work on the mountain, trail work, weed pulling and planting from 4-6pm. The temperatures will be cool and the company pleasant to walk around and tackle our little noxious invaders.

Meet at Alta Town Park at 1pm where participants will get to meet a variety of our raptor ambassadors--learn about these species and why they are now in captivity. Following the program, join us outside for a nature hike to take in the breathtaking views of Little Cottonwood Canyon while you learn about some of the ecology of the canyon and surrounding area. This is a free, family-friendly event suitable for all ages.

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
