Tree Planting at Vista Park
Join us at Vista Park in Taylorsville at 9:00AM on September 24th to plant trees!
We will be meeting at the parking lot accessed off 2200 West. When you arrive, look for the green TreeUtah tent and check in. Once everyone has arrived, we'll do a planting demonstration and safety talk with our ISA-trained Arborist. Then, we'll get planting in small groups.
TreeUtah brings all the tools, trees, soil amendments, safety equipment, light snacks, and trained staff to guide you.
We ask that you bring a reusable water bottle (we will bring a water refill station), wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty.
This event is funded in part by the residents of Salt Lake County through the Zoo, Arts & Parks (ZAP) Program
Looking forward to planting with you!

Everyone can help
TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
