Tree Planting at Intermountain Health's West Jordan Clinic

A large group of people pose with a small tree they planted together. Large trees full of green leaves are in the background.

Come plant trees with us at Intermountain Health's West Jordan Clinic (2655 W 9000 S, West Jordan, UT 84088) on Wednesday, April 10th at 1:00 pm. We expect to wrap things up by 3:00 pm.

When you arrive at the planting site, look for our big green tent to check in. Once everyone has arrived, we'll begin with a brief safety talk and planting demonstration. Then, we'll split into small groups and get planting.

We'll bring the trees, tools, soil amendments, and expertise to guide you through the planting process. We ask that you wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, enough layers to plant comfortably in the day's weather, and sun protection. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to fill at our water station.

So we know to expect you, please fill out our Volunteer Form at the following link: https://treeutah.dm.networkforgood.com/forms/tree-utah-volunteer-waiver

Thank you to Intermountain for hosting this event!

This event was also made possible in part by YOU through Salt Lake County, Zoo, Arts, and Parks. Thank you.

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
