Tree Planting at Dr. O. Roi Hardy Park
Looking for something to do this weekend? Join TreeUtah at Dr. O. Roi Hardy Park (12400 River Vista Dr, Riverton, UT 84065) on Saturday, June 8th at 9:00am to plant some trees!
When you arrive at the planting site, look for our big green tent to check in. Once everyone has arrived, we'll begin with a brief safety talk and planting demonstration. Then, we'll split into small groups and get planting.
We'll bring the trees, tools, soil amendments, and expertise to guide you throughout the planting process. We ask that you wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, sun protection, and enough layers to plant comfortably in the day's weather. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to fill at our water station.
So we know to expect you, please fill out our Volunteer Form at the link below:

This event was made possible in part by you through Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks. Thank you!

Everyone can help
TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
