Tacos & Trees at Galena Hills Park

Join us for Draper City's Arbor Day festivities this Friday at Galena Park (12452 S Vista Station Blvd. Draper, UT 84020) at 5:00pm, where we'll be planting trees and enjoying tacos from local taco trucks!

We will be meeting at the South end of the park. When you see our big green tent, you'll know you're in the right place. When everyone has arrived, we'll get started with a safety talk and planting demonstration, then volunteers will divide into small groups and get planting!

As always, we will bring all the tools, trees, soil amendments, safety equipment, light snacks, and trained staff to guide you. We ask that you wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Please bring your own refillable water bottle.

So we know to expect you, please sign our volunteer waiver by clicking here.

If you have questions about this event, feel free to contact Amy May at 801-573-5685.

We're looking forward to planting with you!

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
