Planting Trees at Fitts Park in South Salt Lake

A large group of volunteers stands with a tree they planted together

Come plant trees with us at Fitts Park (3050 S 500 E, South Salt Lake, UT 84106) on October 14th at 9:00am.

When you arrive, check in at our big green tent. When everyone has arrived, we'll get started with a planting demonstration and brief safety talk. Then, we'll split into groups and get planting.

We will bring the trees, tools, and expertise to guide volunteers through the planting process. We ask that you bring enough layers to be comfortable, sun protection, and wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. We will have a water station where you can refill a reusable water bottle along with light refreshments.

So we know to expect you, please sign our volunteer waiver here: https://treeutah.dm.networkforgood.com/forms/tree-utah-volunteer-waiver

This event was made possible in part by you through Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks. Thank you!

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
