Earth Day Jordan River Clean-Up

The first annual clean-up of the Jordan River for Earth Day will be from 8 to 11:30 a.m. on April 22nd. TreeUtah will be stationed at our EcoGarden at the Day-Riverside Branch Library (1575 W 1000 N, Salt Lake City, UT 84116), where you can find us at our big green tent to check in.

Bring the family and enjoy a FREE grab n’ go breakfast followed by a community workday to protect and preserve our Jordan River.

This is an amazing opportunity to join other members of our community in cleaning up our 17-mile share of the beautiful Jordan River. Some of the projects will include weed and trash removal, in-river clean up, art projects and more.

Registration is required, sign up at: https://stewardship.slc.gov/

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
