Community Tree Planting

Join TreeUtah to plant trees in the center of Sugarhouse Park on Sunday, Oct 3rd at 9am. Sugarhouse Park lost 60 trees in the windstorm last year and this is the first of many replantings that will add to this unique urban forest.

Join TreeUtah once again at beautiful East Canyon for a Stream and Riparian Restoration. East Canyon Creek at Jeremy Ranch, Summit County, Utah. This project will require hiking 1/4 mile on a trail and uneven terrain from vehicles

Come plant trees with TreeUtah on the West Side of Salt Lake City, in conjunction with Salt Lake City Urban Forestry. We will be planting street trees as part of Mayor Erin Mendenhall's initiative to plant an additional 1000 trees on the West Side each year. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Utah Open Lands, in partnership with Salt Lake City Trails and Natural Lands (SLC TNL), is hosting a stream restoration and education celebratory event. A big thank you to Great Salt Lake Audubon, Sugar
House Community Council and Parley’s Rails, Trails and Tunnels (PRATT) for funding! Come celebrate the preservation of this stunning urban natural area - once destined to be a parking lot.
