Sugarhouse Park Tree Planting

This Saturday, we'll be planting at Sugarhouse Park, replacing trees lost in the once-in-a-lifetime windstorm of September 2020. We'll start planting at 9AM sharp (and when we're done we're done, by noon at the latest). Look for the green TreeUtah tent in the center parking lot (first left just before the pond).

Please wear closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. We'll have a water refill station (bring your own reusable water bottle, please), coffee, tea, and granola bars.

Please register to let us know you are coming. We recommend you check the weather forecast before coming. Sugarhouse park is located at 1330 2100 South in Salt Lake City.

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
