Planting in South Salt Lake City

Come plant trees with us at Central Park in South Salt Lake City on Saturday, October 29th at 9:00am.

The address for Central Park is 2797 S 200 E, South Salt Lake, UT 84115.

We will bring all the tree planting supplies, including shovels, gloves, mulch, soil amendments, expert guidance, and the trees themselves. In addition, we will bring coffee, tea, water, and light snacks. We ask that you remember to wear clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. It's also a good idea to bring a reusable water bottle, so you can stay hydrated as you work. It'll be a chilly weekend too, so you might want to bring a jacket!

When arriving at the planting site, volunteers should look for our big green truck and tent with our logo on it to sign in. Then, we'll do a quick safety talk and planting demonstration before we all get started.

Before the event, please fill out our volunteer waiver form online by clicking here

This event was sponsored in part by you through Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks. Thank you!
