Planting at the Plant Your Feet Festival
Join us at 9:00am this Saturday at the Tracy Aviary Jordan River Nature Center (1125 W 3300 S, South Salt Lake, UT 84119) to plant trees with Samba Fogo to kick off the Plant Your Feet Community Dance & Planting Festival!
We will be meeting at the Tracy Aviary Jordan River Nature Center at 9:00am. After we've all gathered, we'll start with a safety talk and planting demonstration before splitting up into small groups to plant trees. We will bring all the tools, trees, soil amendments, safety equipment, light snacks, coffee/tea/drinks and trained staff to guide you. We ask that you wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Please bring your own refillable water bottle.
