75th Anniversary of Evergreen Park Tree Planting

Join TreeUtah at Evergreen Park at 2pm to plant trees in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of this, the first Salt Lake County Park! Bring clothing you can get dirty, your mask (it's hard to distance during these events so we'll wear masks throughout), sun protection, your own gloves if you have them, and a refillable water bottle. We'll bring the trees, tools, and expertise to have a fun experience planting trees. Please pre-register.

We will meet at 2pm, then do a planting demonstration and safety talk, and get planting!

We ask that you plan to wear a mask during the entire event unless you step away, wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. We will bring all the tools, trees, soil amendments, safety equipment, light snacks, water, and trained staff to guide you.

Questions? Feel free to call/text 801-573-5685. Please sign up with our registration form so we know to expect you there!

Location: 2266 E Evergreen Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84109.  Look for the green TreeUtah tent.

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
