Hanksville

Two years ago, a flood caused most of Hanksville's trees to die. TreeUtah traveled down in March of 2009 to award Hanksville a cost share to help repopulate their town with trees. Fifteen trees were planted with the help of the entire community. The children of Hanksville Elementary were especially enthusiastic and hard-working participants, helping turn their school's exposed lawn in to a shady place to play.
