Alta Ski Area Tree Planting

Trees are vital not only to the beauty of the mountains, but to the health of our watersheds and the operation of resorts like Alta Ski Area. We invite you to discover a whole new side of Alta Ski Area by joining us to plant 2,000 trees on September 6th, 2014! Both rugged and rewarding; this will be a fun day to enjoy and give back to the beautiful Little Cottonwood Canyon.

When: Saturday, September 6th, 2014 from 8am to 1pm.

Where: Albion Grill, Alta Ski Area

What to Bring: Sturdy close toed hiking shoes or boots, clothing appropriate for conditions (we suggest long pants and quick dry materials that can get dirty and take wear and tear), a backpack to carry your refillable water bottle, snacks or other needed items, and gloves if you prefer to have your own.

Registration is REQUIRED.

Please reserve your spot HERE, and RSVP on Facebook!

TreeUtah deeply values our ongoing partnership with Alta Ski Area and the Alta Environmental Center. Thank you also to Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts and Parks for your support of TreeUtah’s mission.
