Tree Planting at Roots Disc Golf Course in SLC

Tree Planting at Roots Disc Golf Course in SLC

Come plant trees with us on Saturday, April 20th at 9:00 am at the Roots Disc Golf Course (1250 N Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84116).

When you arrive at the planting location, look for our big green tent to check in. Once everyone has arrived, we'll begin with a brief safety talk and planting demonstration. Then, we'll split into small groups and get planting.

We will bring the trees, tools, and expertise to guide you through the planting process. We ask that you wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, enough layers to plant comfortably in the day's weather, and sun protection. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to fill at our water station.

The disc golf course is located just off Redwood Road in the Rose Park neighborhood of Salt Lake City just south of the Rose Park Golf Course.

If you are traveling North on Redwood, you'll find the turnoff on the right side of the road shortly after passing the big Parks & Recreation campus. It is just across the street from the Grove apartment building.

So we know to expect you, please fill out our Volunteer Form at the link below:

This tree planting event was made possible in part by you through Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks. Thank you!
